Skunk2 Pro Series Stage 2's, now what??
|
|
I'm installing a set of Skunk2 Pro Series Stage II Cams in my 2000 Civic Si w/IHE and I'm wondering what else I'll need to see the real benefits of these cams. Throttle Body? Intake Manifold? Springs? Retainers?
please help

yea, to see any useful benefits with those cams u will first off need something larger then a b16. u will then most definatly need upgraded valvesprings & retainers. then higher compression, head work, and tuning would all be strongly recomended.
the pro series cams are very agressive, even the stage 1's. on a mild b16 then will be way to much cam. ur midrange will suffer & your peak hp will come at way to high of an rpm to be useful.
seriously if u don't have much more planned, just get regular skunk2 stage 1 cams.

yeah I don't have any bigger plans for the B16 than maybe Cams. If I turbo the thing I'm swapping in an LS/VTEC Setup
