Wtf is up with the 1.5L turbo. That Pos is experiencing oil dilution to the point where the car will just shut off without warning. Fuel is the cause and it creates high oil level lmfaooo. Honda’s fix? Do oil changes when the dip stick is showing high. Are you fucking kidding me? Can’t wait to see how the 2L turbo is long term. |

WHAT?! is this due to the low tension piston rings and fuel blowing by the piston into the sump? There's a number of issues with low tension rings, and unfortunately nearly all modern cars have them for efficiency reasons. But when you pair these rings with high compression, di and fi...mega issues. Even just NA motors alone burn through oil like mad (see 1zzfe). But it allows motors to run the crazy light weight oils such as 0w20. Crazy that a Honda motor is this bad though. Wut. |

Yup I’m pretty sure it has something to do with the low tension rings. Inexcusable and there’s an even thinner oil now I heard. |

Just remembered. Wasn’t there also an engine recall due to shoddy built engines for the same 1.5L engine? Something about forgetting to install a retaining pin on the cylinder LOL LOL LOL |

how about the ctr problem where the hiring harness shakes itself apart and it yields an underboost condition? :3 |

had to deal with the VTC issue in my wifes 2012 crv...think this will be the last honda after this one goes. Honda canada is useless and completely ignores the fact that this is so wide spread and acts as if it's normal |

Bought a new leftover 2016 EXT coupe 1yr ago. Great on gas (<6L/100km hwy, ~7L/100km combined) comfortable for long drives. OTD for under 24k. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again, but I don't like how the '17+ models are packaged. I've driven enough rental hyundais and kias to know I wouldn't want to own one. |

I miss "good on gas"... The RDX is thirsty all the time....the Lexus is worst as its slow as shit. |

1st gen or 2nd? My 2007 was around 15L/100km city lolol. It improved slightly with Hondata. |

With that said, it's been relatively problem free and is now owned by a good friend of mine. 160k |

2017 so 2nd gen.....we like the RDX....good value vs. the Lexus NX. We are getting 13.x now with mostly Markham driving. It is good on the highway mileage wise. |
