Getting the Elise meant trading in the S. I was okay with that. I decided there was no real reason to keep the Miata though. Very redundant car. I'ma miss that car for a long, long time. Been all emo about it for days. Now it's over, can't go back. Whined enough on other forums, I don't need to whine here. How 'bout we all post pics of the cars we wish we never sold? |

I miss this truck very very much... The only sports type vehicle I've had was the Spec V and I don't regret selling it at all. The truck above though was just great. Got 21 mpg on the highway, 17 mpg in town with me beating the shit out of it. The cornering was shockingly balanced. It was also probably the best looking vehicle I've owned. I loved the interior and the two tone exterior. And holy shit at being very very loud with the cat back exhaust I had on it. I owned it when I was in the Air Force and whenever possible I would park backed up to the window of our office. It would shake the whole office when I'd start it! This following vehicle was one I had in High School, I don't miss it as much. But it was a blast to throw into corners, it was very light weight for a truck, only had the KA24e engine with a 5 speed manual. The only options on it were the back bumper and air conditioning. It didn't even come with a stereo. I did some very very stupid shit in that truck, I sold it at 95k miles in 1997. It still didn't burn any oil when I sold it, despite how hard I drove it. In the mid 90's coming home from work, I would peg the 100mph speedometer for extended periods. |

The only car I miss is the SRT-4. I still turn my head and roll down my windows when one drives by. I miss the go power of the FXT and RWD/torque of the Mustang. My next vehicle will hopefully be a G37x, so that should offer a good mix of performance/luxury and I'll forget the old shit. I just wish I had an extra spot in the garage for a weekend warrior. |

I don't miss anything I sold. There was a reason that I sold all of my cars, so there is no reason to sit here and ponder on was done for the right reason. |

my last 82 244. had like 160k on it, and I sold it for $800... Past that, I miss the damn Galant every day. The thing made a name for me in the DSM community, and it was pretty well-known locally. I also wish the dude didn't total my 81 V242 GLT. talk about a beast... |

What you really need is an NYG Neon ACR.... |

My choices aren't spectacular but here they are. This was the ultimate roadtrip tank. Nothing could stop it and I have a ton of great memories thanks to this car. Came down to keeping the Si or being homeless. Considering how things ultimately turned out, I'd rather have kept the Si. The neon that would not die. So fun to drive, easy to work on and best of all paid for. |

No contest for me, the only car I really miss is my 98 Accent. However, in a fit of almost relapse I'm going to be co-driving my friend's 99 Accent in FSP next season I think, which is the car I used to run against with mine and I've helped set up in the past. All his car really needs now are shocks (probably Koni, leaning towards 8611's), 13" Hoosier A6's (255's front, 225's rear), 13x9F/13x8R wheels, and some minor weight reduction (-50#'s or so to get under 2000#). |

Wait. What. 255s on the drive wheels, and under 2k lbs? Your obsession with these things suddenly clicks into sharp relief. Whoa. |

I'm gonna need 255s on the 7 project all around. 1350lb(with driver) 250hp, and 255s all around..... *drool* |

Here's a set on a miata's tire tail I found on miata.net, best pic I've found of them. The car is sitting at 2035 pounds now, with the stock stereo still in, those heavy ass wheels and tires in the picture, and a few other odds and ends so I think 1950 pounds is doable. It still doesn't make any sense, but hell its fun and this time its NOT my car. The tires alone will be worth more than the car, let alone the DA Koni's if we go with them... |

Bought this '96 VR6 Golf in Germany when I was stationed over there. This is in England when we drove over to visit. Great little car, shitty pic (thought I had a better one). Loved to cruise @90mph. Should have brought it back stateside. James |

I paid next to nothing for it, perfectly reliable bolt-on 4.6 with tasteful mods and a sexy Magnaflow catback with Xpipe. Also my 86 5.0 Ex-highway patrol car. I paid $700 for that one, sawzalled the rusty exhaust off, threw on Weld draglites and gutted the thing. What a great car. |

Strangely, I didn't really miss the S once i turned it in, but I will remember pulling into the driveway and seeing that bright yellow car on the grass in the sun a long while. |

My old mulletmobile Slowest thing around (2.8 60 degree FTL), but I had it through HS, college, and 3 years after, and it was dead nuts reliable, never once left me stranded and made it through numerous upstate NY snowstorms. |
