So Jalopnik and Turn 10 have teamed up for some 360 DLC Its not really about whether or not you own a 360,but check out these cars. What did/would you vote for,and why? (you dont have to list all 10,your favorite choice from each 3 groups would be enough. Or maybe what cars do you just plain like? They're all pretty much off the beaten path-type cars. http://jalopnik.com/5455862/jalopnik-forza-motorsport-3-partner-on-two-new-car-packs There are 3 groups to pick from today, and 3 more tomorrow. I picked uncommon stuff I would like to drive: Alfa Romeo GT55 (RWD V6 revving to 10,900 and making 480HP) 1998 Mitsubishi Evo V GSR 1992 Ford RS Cosworth But I loved the weird Lancias,Astons and a ton of other stuff. Good choice with the Pantera When they were looking for a Pre-L to do sounds/model for the game I emailed one of the developers and told em I could swap on the stock wheels for the game, but turns out they already had one. Oh well I tried. I'd just be happy to see the car in the game. I actually just got into the race sim rfactor and there is a mod called Historx where they imported everything from GT Legends. Makes the game a blast to play. |

I've loved the Pantera ever since I was 16 and was hanging at the late night street races and an INSANE one showed up. I watched him half-track a ZX6R and was fucking sold. |

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, why can't they just put a damn Daytona or Shadow or some kind of turbododge in the game? Omni GLHS would be nice. |

what? the talon esi wasn't enough in GT4? wasn't there a PT GT in there, too? I don't really agree with the old cars. they're slow, handle like shit, and rarely compete. yeah, it's cool to see some of them.. but that's about it. the typhoon idea is cool, but aside from donuts, what's it going to be good at? |

Craig:I get what you're saying, but I actually found it harder to get into Forza 3 because it just didnt seem like they had enough different cars to keep it interesting. They do have alot more cars, just not alot of great cars that they didnt already have. Some of the cars on these lists are so different,it would be awesome to drive them, and if that's not enough for you, modding them should be alot of fun. Thats how I look at it at least. That old Lotus for example should be the lightest car in the game. And as far as the SyTys go,they're mostly in there IMO for: A: Beating someone with an old SUV online B: The new drag race mode |

I used to want a set of centurion IIs to replace the crab wheels on my Shadow America SO BAD. I remember finding a set for 400+ shipping, and thinking that it was just too much to justify the cost. I was right, esp since the car was totaled within a year. Still, good looking wheels on a turbo dodge. |

Yeah I didn't mention that in my post, but I have the original campys when I bought the car. Best part is the two back rims are the 15x10" which are harder to find. Besides the engine and the radiator and a few other things, the car is virtually stock appearing. Even the ansa exhaust is still on the car which unfortunately is very restrictive, but does sound good. The previous owner told me someone was trying to get him to separate the wheels before the sale and sure enough I got a pm soon after. I've grown on them, and at the very least will keep them to make the car more attractive to another buyer. As far as I'm concerned they belong with the car. One of them is SME (Subject Matter Expert) and it's my job to approve all our photoshoot candidates and make sure we model the right things. We wound up going with a local car you've posted before and by the end of it i was getting REALLY sick of calling out neon tubes on the damned thing lol. Add to that that we had a tough time finding good campagnolo reference, and I was not a happy camper. had I only known lol. . . |

Winners announced! http://jalopnik.com/5459331/forzalopnik-your-winners-are-here/gallery/?skyline=true&s=i I'm kinda bummed the Z3 M Coupe didn't make it, but the M6, 2002 Turbo, and Syclone made it. I still think the Typhoon should be included since modeling the Syclone will probably get the developers 90% there on the Typhoon since they're pretty much identical short of the bed/blazer portion. |

In mag tests, the GLH-turboand GLHS stopped from 60mph in 120'. So they stop pretty good. They also held 0.89G on the skidpad with their 205/50/15 Goodyear Gatorbacks. Fair to say, they did understeer a bit, but they handled pretty good. |
