In the detailing world I have been hearing a little buzz about about coatings that are being done over seas (Japan, Europe, etc). From what I can gather it essentially creates a harder coating over the paint. Sheets water like no other and is said to do so for a long time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hg1XK-fy3AM&feature=related From what my friend tells me the primary use is to prevent scratches/swirls/marring and it's not really that hard to put on. People have tested it and it lasts anywhere from a year to two years depending on usage. I will be trying it this weekend after a full detail I will be using this instead of a wax. I have a close friend who works at autogeek and scored a set of their products to test (assuming if it works well they will sell it). |
