1. Install ignition box and wire up correctly. 2. Don't connect power wire to box but crank your starter till the battery dies. 3. Grab jumper cables and a spare car and continue to crank. 4. While connecting jumper cables notice power not connected to CDI box. Connect power. 5. Continue cranking until realize fuse is not in power line. Install fuse. 6. Get car to sputter. Continue cranking till donor car battery dies. 7. Hook battery charger to donor car and start it. Now put jumper wires on your POS DSM and continue cranking. 8. Check fuel pressure and realize your out of fuel. 9. Run to town and grab 4 gallons of gas. 10. Dump in gas and start car.
Congratulations you have installed a CDI box in your POS DSM and it only took you 1 hour to wire it up and 2.5 hours to actually start it.

No. I was out of fuel. I added an inline pump and I'm still out of fuel but at a higher boost. The lead on the wideband sensor slowed it down enough that I couldn't catch it leaning out on the logs. The CDI box is my ricer mod for the year. Stock DSM' ignitions go 600whp so I don't need one yet.
