I don't wanna buy a piece of shit that falls apart, but I'm not paying for the P90 branded crap either.

Advice?

uhhh.... not to HX_shitpaper myself but I use the one at the local elementary school in the eves \:o (part of the jungle gym)

advantage: forces me to walk over there
completely free

disadvantages:
non-zero risk of being charged under Megan's law depending on timing and whatever vagaries the local PD have w/adults on premises, and whether or not somebody can see my sexy belly button

Iron Gym is the standard these days. Iron Gym Extreme has a wider grip for $10 extra.

The industry seems to have gone away from the "screw brackets into the door frame" units that I've used for the past 12 years.

I agree with most comments above, I personally have the Iron Gym Extreme There is no drilling needed and it can be used for pull-ups, sit-ups, and push-ups. And it is only $40 so definitely affordable.

Because I don't live anywhere near a school? Also, it's below 70 degrees, which means I might freeze to death outside.
