Ordered a half chicken, I think they gave me 3/4 of a chicken. 1 leg, 1 breast, 2 thighs with wings.
Super crispy (might be burned, darker than picture), juicy , and ultra greasy.
After couple of pieces, I dabbed each piece with a fresh napkin. Each napkin became soaked.

But tasted pretty good. Would I get it again?
Eh, I might stick with Popeyes spicy chicken.

I haven't been at swiss chalet in years. How much did that set you back?

And a side plate of salad.

I think it was $17.99 for the half chicken dinner.
Had a beer + tip. $30 meal

Hmmm, I'll stick with the og Swiss chalet chicken. Add og ribs if I'm feeling extra fatty.

That's way too much money for that IMO. It looks kinda nasty. The regular chicken was always good but getting expensive lately as well.

Yeah, that doesn't look right.

I do miss regular Swiss Chalet though. They don't have it out here - when I visit Toronto, I usually end up going, for old time's sake \:\)

Didn't KFC tried to offer grill chicken when the healthy eating trend started
And it flopped?

Likely the same will happen with this.

won't matter, this is pretty much the new chain restaurant business model. Have your base menu, and rotate through a bunch of "experimental" dishes, if really popular, then potentially add into main menu or just bring it back more often.

If I'm eating fried chicken, I'm going to Popeyes or Mary Browns.

Chick-Fil-A is good. Had it a few times when we were in Florida last year.
