Context: reporters combing through his resume, reaches out to a company about his previous employment, and this is how they respond.

And we don’t have records of co-op going back that far,” Anderson said. “We do employ his mother, who is now on leave for obvious reasons.”

I couldn't be sure ... but some rando person was interviewed on tv, and it sounded like she was referring to the Korean lady who runs/owns that FOOD CART was killed?!  If so ...  ... We had those red-bean filled fish cakes thingies from her a few mths back...
that food kart gave me the shits one time.

Things could've been A LOT worse. 10pm on a Sunday isn't overly busy on the Danforth in comparison to other times throughout the week. I'm sure this will not only impact the security for Taste of the Danforth but also the attendance. What is this world coming to?

The danforth shooting hit close to home, the family is related to my wife's side. Gut wrenching forme, they live a few streets up from us and everyday I drive by the girl's school I see the pile of flowers growing.
Grew up on the Danforth too so still lots of connections, friend's parents own the resto right next to Demetre's when the guy opened fire. Friend's dad is still mentally fucked up, he had to hide a bunch of people inside.
Must've missed the anti muslim thing as I was there on Friday, place felt spooky as fuck. All music was off from broadview to pape, felt eerie despite it being packed.
