Which shop did the work?
Did they replace the complete 1/4's with aftermarket panels or did they cut around the rust and replace the spots only?
Looks very nice!

markham auto body (cj fly referral) and he's done some past nice restos on minis and other cars. usually he's just doing regular (insurance) work that keeps them busy these days.
they cut and did new metal by hand. i checked into rear 1/4's and they do not make OEM or aftermarket rears for any 98-01 teg gen (surprising). i did find a set in Cali from JPN but as usual the price was exorbitant. he also said it'd be a waste if my inside metal was rotted (which is was not) to weld the seem to. also wasn't bad enough to need full new rears, so that's good.

Wow looks amazing! Makes me miss my SiR.
Wondering how this car would compare to a BRZ?
Just wondering since it would be crazy to pay 50K no matter what condition.

That's great! The car is meant to be driven, not a garage queen. Sadly there are a fair amount of ITRs that are garage queens which has never seen a track.
Keep driving it!

Brz is more entertaining and engaging in the twisties. Stock seats are much better for performance driving and the immediacy of the turn-in response is much more rapid in the brz—the front end on that car is wicked pointy.
ITR has a much superior drivetrain experience, is easier to drive fast and u can still hang tail with some proper braking (left foot or otherwise). Different animal. More benign and more fierce in the engine department. A lot more drama from the motor. Tons of character there. Brz has the better chassis though.

pretty much... if my BRZ had like a bit more power (and revved to 8k+), it'd be the missing part.

What type r owners don’t circle jerk?
if they take their eyes off their cars for too long they'd get stolen.

Ha thanks for the comparo on the BRZ I bet it would be close race around the track.
The Vtec crossover would be the missing part of the equation I'm sure.
Cool car man as you don't see many of them any more...and it should only go up in value. I miss the old Hondas I might have to test drive an EK SiR and see if it sparks the nostalgia.

Yeah RWD and more torque I wouldn't be surprised if it outran it at the track.
Can you upgrade sway bars to further stiffen or is it unnecessary? I have't researched the BRZ much.

Holy shit that's like 100K CAD - Surprised the SiR's aren't going up in value. It was pretty rare, got stolen more than the type R and was probably 80% of what the type R was...Note I've never driven the type R so I'm magazine racing.

The Lexus is also under $100 but they clean my mats, quick wipe down of the interior and top up all the fluids, pump up the tires and check for brake wear.
Just took my RDX to Acura.....its just under $100 bucks. They just run the car through a car wash.
Wife was disappointed it wasn't the same service.
