I am a newbie here and I have a few questions.

That is a fantastic step by step install!
I am not that talented to do this myself!
Did you need any help with the install?
and how long did it take?

Thanks!

Great Write up! Keep us posted on how to power them via the park lights or always on. I had Honda install mine (Yeah they actually threw in the Fogs and Labor as a counter-offer when i was trying to beat them down under MSRP), but i'd like to rewire them myself.

that is something i should do too... in canada its about 25 xxx and with taxes and stuff it would come out to about 27000 but they marked it up to 29xxx! i think that is bull shit because if i plan to get even the fog lights or HFP body kit the price of the SI would easily go over 30 grand... 30 grand for a civic is just retarted

- Etown,
I filled out the paperwork for my Si on April 1st, and my fog lights were only $628.75.
That and the body kit ($1711.00)which is the most expensive item I purchased for the car, brought my total price to $28,794 before warranty, taxes and paint protection!
I am pretty happy with the cost of the car.
My original Civic is a '98 and I got it pretty basic, I then added things after the fact. Boy what a mistake!
I have learned from my mistakes!

I am so excited about this car!!

Sorry I should have said 28 was in Canadian funds.
The base price of the car is 25,880 Canadian.
I am not mechanically inclined, so If I want anything extra I have to pay for it?
But Hey I am extremly happy!!!!

Thats the base price in Ontario I think... in AB its upwards of $27,400... the only difference is we dont have to pay the 8% PST here. In the end, it all works out to be rather equal

And I thought $25 was expensive.
But yes you are right, it does work out equally!

As a newbie, let me say, that's an excellent write up/fotos. I also belong to acuramdx.org and hondasuv.com, and it's interesting to see similar tasks being undertaken on this forum.

I will say we found the fogs should be aimed to be more usable. Typically, they only light up the road at close distance to the front of the vehicle. But can be aimed to shoot more down the road, keeping them low of course.
..and if you prefer yellow tinge, do a search for "jdm luminics" 2500K. bulbs. One nice thing, they make the stock headlights look more white when you see the car head on.
