I don't have as many posts as you guys, but I have been around about 2 years now. I remember when Diesel had the fastest, bestest Si around. I also remember Gok posting his car. Oh and I do remember when Siracer had the Tsunami lip with a big Clubsi banner. Things change.....

Thats nothing... I still remember the day I found the Yahoo Club started by Dainelle "aka The Princess".

Anyone remember the NR Automotive group buy on the white gauge faces that I set up in the spring of 99? They werent even going to make them for the Si because it was a "limited production car". They had to get like 50 pre-paid orders before they would even consider making them... If I remember right we blew that number away within a week. I'm quite sure by now they have sold thousands of copys, thanks to ME!

I remember when the 99 Si first came out, and no one knew what a red valve cover was. Now everyone has 3 of them in their garages, and you can get Mugen knock offs on Ebay for $150.00.
I remember when the DC short throw was the hot item to have, and they were on backorder for a year.
I remember when 17" wheels were cool.
I remember when contrasting stickers were cool.
I remember when Scott at King Motorsports told me they would NOT put a B16 in my 91 CR-X Si because it "wasn't possible" to do.
I remember when I told everyone the 99 Si was going to have the del Sol VTEC engine and people told me I was stupid because that engine sucked.
I haven't been posting here on ClubSi too long on this username, but I've been around long enough to know how things work. It's funny to think about how things change through-out the years.
Remember when new users and posters weren't complete mongoloids that could at least spell their own names?

I leave you with 1 final thought..

Remember when it was cool to have 'lowering springs?'

Like sum1 else mentioned i may not post often but ive been around here for a while.. been here since 5/29/00. ..

What i remember was comin in with a 97 Civic EX and getting hated on by all these people with new SIs.

I remember a quote by someone: If its not an SI its crap.

Glad to see the ethnocentrism is gone .....

I browsed for a very long time, but my fav. post of all time was just a little while ago, "NYBlazinSI"s car, man I think that was the most popular CSI thread I've ever seen.

I remember when when i first found out about clubsi. I would go home everynight after work and go through at least 2 or 3 pages of NEW posts in each forum.

Even though I still go on clubsi mostly everyday, theres only about 25-30 new posts in each of the forums I read. And not even half of those new posts are important to me... Come on guys, don't tell me CSI is dying.....

I used to have one of those in my Si

it's been 3+ years that the 99-00 Si has been out.. You can't expect the people that started it to still have them. I remember when they had what's your odometer reading and majority having them under 10g's ... New cars came out.. hybrids started becoming a house hold name vs a owww ahhh dammmnnnn..

Ahh yes. It's been one hell of a rollercoaster. And my registration date 0wnz j00 all. (Except Jason... and you've only got 5 days on me )
I remember when there were 3 or 4 forums. General, Performance, Si vs. All, and Audio/Security.
I also remember the forums after Yahoo, but before these, where anyone could post a poll and it had way different smileys etc.

Everyone's leaving, selling their si, and there are less and less posts in the forums that count.

I'm going to go be depressed now

Yep, its been weird couple of years. Granted i'm a late comer getting an si at the end of the production. I remember my first post was in members profile and a got it locked and moved cause it was the wrong forum. Fortunatly that was before the heavy flaming days. I used to just cruise, nw, general and si v all. Remember some of those flame wars with the other boards? I still have a name over at altimas.net. Now i've been pretty much just in out there. The other forums are seriously dying off. I still cruise by here and nw to help out when i can but theres just so little action. The new si just hasn't brought the people that the old one did. Ok i'm gonna go cry now!

I had both the Dougs & autometer one... sold the autometer one cause the dougs was just to damn good. only time it slipped out of it's spot was if i'ld shift hard the clutch would chatter and the whole dash would shake
