What are some of the things you do outside of your home to enjoy the Christmas season? It doesn't have to be anything formal, it could be just driving around the neighborhood with your family looking at Christmas lights or going to the mall to enjoy the displays. Truth be told there is TONS to do, it all boils down to your appetite/energy and how much you want to spend.

We used to make it a tradition to go downtown to see the window displays at The Bay. They didn't have them last year but I hear this year they're bringing them back.

We also go to the Santa Clause parade downtown and often go to the one in Unionville as well.

We hit up the Distillery but make sure to go on a weekday evening before the crazy crowds.

We go to Kringlewood which is a neighborhood street lined with massive blowup Santas

There was a place that we had gone to several times when my kids were younger which I thought was really nice. It may have been in Milton. Anyway they take you on a horse drawn sleigh ride through the forest and you end up in the middle in Santa's village. There were a few different cabins. In one you can see where the elves make the toys. In the other Mrs Claus makes you cookies. At the last stop is to see Santa. You have to book your reservation in advance and you tell them your kids' names. First of all when you enter its really "magical". Its very warm, cozy and Christmasy. To top it off, because you booked in advance, Santa knows the kids names which really adds to the magic.

There is Santa's Village in Bracebridge but we have never been.

Shops At Don Mills is nice as they have a number of light displays and its nice for a stroll.

We went to Canada's Wonderland a few times in the past, but not sure we'll go this year.

I know if you hit up social media there are tons of places to go: Casa Loma, Harbourfront, etc. Just interested what you all do, if anything.
