Alright to get the basics out the way i have a 00 Si and have had the full-race traction bars on for over a year. I bought the strip bars when they were just coming out and loved them. Wheel hop seemed to go away i just got wheel spin. Since i have upped my whp i noticed that wheel hop has come back to plague me. It got so bad that i broke my differental about 3 months ago which i replaced with a quaife lsd and at the same time went with gator stage 2 axles. before the install of the traction bars i did the motor mount install thing, i have a decent suspension, Tokico illumiuns i think my weak point is my springs which are the tein s-techs. I am looking to find a pair of GSR LCAs so the traction bars are mounted to the lca itself and not the shock fork. Can someone get me in a right location were to look at to end this problem? Should i upgrade to a poly. bushings or change my shock and spring setup which i think would eliminate the wheel bouncing. Thanks
I posted this in honda-tech but havent gotten any responses in two days. that forum stays pretty busy and i dont want my post to get flushed to the back so wanted to see if i get any responses here. I know Geoff from full-race posted about the traction bars before maybe he can give me some insight and see this here.

I've have the Falken Azenis RT615s. I think from others options in the Got Boost forum that its my suspension mainly the springs. I was going to go with a full coilover shock this coming year which will help.

That's odd. How low do the tien s-techs drop the car?
My car has been at almost stock ride height (probably 1/2 an inch lower) on the full bodied coil overs and I barely get ANY wheel hop. Even without traction bars.
On the 92-00 civics. I like getting the energy suspension lower control arm bushing set. I do it to ALL my vehicles along with the ES motor mount inserts. It seemed to help me with all my cars. The main one I think is where the lca has an attachment that goes back into the body of the car. That big bushing seemed to help out the most.
Try that first and go from there. The bushings should be about 40 dollars or so.

is the website. it seems 96-00 civics get part number 16.3114 which should get you two LCA bushings sets per side and the "radius rod" as I call it bushing also.

under that picture, we are looking at bushing # 7 and the kit will also come with the bushings where bolts # 14 and 17 go through
LASTLY, while you're in there, get new front sway bar bushings too can't hurt

I've been wanting to do the front lca bushings too. Since the cause of wheel hop is the lca's actually moving forward when under a load and taking off. A tighter and strong control arm bushing should limit the amount of movement.
So now my list is better springs or complete coilover shock which is probably what i am going to do, and lca bushings.
Oh and its dropped at right above the tire all the way around. pic added.

I think dropped right above the tire usually is a 2" drop or so. I don't know. I run stock axles (auto parts store lifetime warranty axles) and it lasted a whole season without breaking launching on 24.5 slicks. 1.7 60 foots. I did eventually jinx myself and snapped an axle a couple weekends ago.
But can you get the ES bushings over there? They are quite common and not TOO bad to install. you might have to take a bit more time since you have the sway bar bushings and your traction bar, but it seems like you know how to wrench so it doesn't matter.
I'd raise the car back up to get a better axle angle (bad axles can cause it to hop also) and do the bushings and see what happens.

Getting the ES bushing kit shouldnt be a problem i just order them and send them to my apo address. I am already planning on a suspension change, mainly cause i have noticed my rear springs seem to be sagging more noticeably lately. My illumiuna shocks seem to still be in good condition so i might just change over and get a set of Eibach springs which should raise the car up alittle which is fine and correct DS angle. As far as my axles are concerned they were replaced with gator stage 2 axle when i was doing the Quaife lsd install so they better be strong enough. My stock axles were still good but i did notice a bit of slop in them.

Damn ballers in Germany. They buy quaifes, get gator axles, and get FR traction bars while I only have 1 of those 3

I know I can get them thru my business, but I am not sure about the hassle of shipping over seas.. Seems kinda "involved"
Summit-racing.com? Jegs.com?
for the "american" suppliers.
other than that, I guess you'll have to shop around and see who has em.

shipping is easy, all my mail from the states is through usps. Its shipped regular domestic mail like in the states. Nothing involved about it. fast-turbo.com sent my quaife through usps, insured ofcourse. I even had my ITR cylinder head shipped usps express, ofcourse i paid for it. If you can help me out, pm me back about it.

So you want the lower control arm ES bushings? Let me see what I can get them for. What other ES bushings do you want?

Just the lower control arm bushings you talked about in your previous post above with the pic. I already have the inserts and am going to replace the upper front engine mount with a more solid mount that hasport sells.

You talking about the two "stabilizer" mounts? one is on the AC compressor. one is on the transmission?
I know ES sells a "kit" that does the rear mount along with the two stabilizer mounts. That along with the lower control arm bushing and you should be set.
