Just trying to find out if there were any Kansas people on the site? Also, if there are, do you know where a good shop is around here for modifications? thanks!

Im from KC as well. I like Revline and Modified by KC. They are both good shops. Choung is a hell of a guy, as well as Chad from MKC. I had MKC tune my car on short notice. They met up with me at 11pm on a Saturday night, and tuned my car and let me hang out and talk with them while they were working on the shop drag car.

I would love to meet other people with civics, just havent really seen any out and about. Where do the meets go on in the KC area? Where are the good places to cruise around here?

I am in Warrensburg, MO. As of right now no fun cars, but wrenching skills if anyone needs some help with installs. I do a lot of shooting to if someone wants to get together and shoot some guns.
always up for shooting guns! I have a springfield xd9 and a glock 21 . . . where do yall go shooting at?

I ran a 12.418 @ 110.03 at KCIR yesterday with a blowa on my Elise - on street tires with a shitty transmission/shifter.
If I could shift faster/launch better it would have been an 12.1
Supercharged (8psi) 2005 Lotus Elise - 2070 lbs. at the line (KCIR: 11/18/2007)

You'll see a lot of great info in the 06+ Si forum about your car. Watch out for the leg humpers. They're desperate, but it won't take them long to figure out you're female.
Hope you can dish it out and ignore the idiots and you'll enjoy your time on these boards.

Hey, I'm new here too. I'm stationed in Ft. Riley, KS. I arrived in July '10 then deployed 4 months later. Currently, I am in Iraq. I have 2 white EK9's sitting in Virginia Beach right now. Ill be bringing them over by the end of this year when I get back. Lately, I've been trying to find some shops close by but haven't found anything. Seems like everything is close by Kansas City which is 3hrs away. Ft. Riley is near Ogden, Junction City and Manhatten. Anyways, I plan on retuning the motors when I get back. Any suggestions on where to go or who to go to? How are the winters like? My cars are sitting pretty low on coilovers and heard I'll just be plowing snow when I drive. How is the car scene like too? I've been out a couple times and haven't really seen anything that catches my eye. Not a lot of Hondas done up frome what I remember when I left.

not a lot of stuff going on. I haven't really been on post in the snow, usually manhattan which does a poor to moderate job with snow clearing.
Shops are hard to come by. Westgate Auto repair did me well with some suspension issue and Extra Mile Import by the Manhattan airport has done great work, but can take a week to get in.
Hit me up here or on PM if you have any other questions. It can be a nice area outside of Junction and Ogden.
