Hey, I'm looking into getting a 1999 Civic Si. It has 94,000 miles on it and is in great condition. What I was wondering is when should the timing belts be replaced? I'm not sure if they've been replaced yet or not, but I know that it can be a major expense. Thanks!

7 years/105k miles is the book recommended interval.

I'd check around but at my shop I charge about 500-550 to do a tb/wp job with the ac/alt/ps belts. Honda dealership should be a couple hundred more.
