Post Master Supreme Registered: 07/25/00 Posts: 57253	If you had to have two lenses, some kind of 35/50/85 1.4-1.8f prime and one of the ones below, which of these two (below) would it be and why? Assuming you're shooting everything from indoor events to outdoor wildlife/landscape type stuff? Now go take a picture of them fish in a dark setting and tell me how the no IS works for you... IS greatly helps when you get into low light settings. The push-pull zoom is fucking awesome and the reach of it is just spectacular... Color and sharpness are top notch, but the range does fuck-all for me. I'd rather have the extra reach and the IS of the 24-105 for the stuff I shoot. I'd bet it goes for under $1K street before the end of the year and it has IS. I've heard the bokeh is a little harsh in some circumstances due to how the aspheric elements are formed, but those also help with edge sharpness, so . . .
