whats the weather like out there right now? low is about 70 here at 6am or about 85 at 10pm when I like to run. highs were 97-ish until today with the storm moving in.
70 is perfect to run as far as im concerned.
oh and i signed up for the 10k turkey trot on 11/22. i feel like a pimp.
High of 70-mid 80's with lows in the 40's. I cant wait to run when it's chilly. Shorts, long sleeve T, iPod, and Im good to go!

(That distance may not be 100% accurate. I was unsure but since I ran a mile in 8:22ish, I just threw something up there)
I TRY to run 3-4 times per week. Usually on Monday-Tuesday, rest on Wednesday, then run on Thursday, Rest, Saturday. Most of the time I dont get the Saturday run in, but we'll see. Ill be honest, IM sorta nervous about this 5k this weekend. Ive never run in a race and Im NOT a morning person. It's about 30 minutes away, and it's at 8am. Recipe for disaster...

edit: Also, what part of you is it that gets tired first? I find after running for awhile it's my lungs before my legs. Now that Ive completely run through my shin splints I had back in June/July/August timeframe, I dont have much pain per se. However, I wish I would be able to last for 15-20 minutes or so.

60 minutes on the stairmaster doing intervals for the second time this week.. thats really impressive. my legs would turn to jello, then buckle and give way before I collapsed to the floor if I did 60 minutes. it's taken me a long time to build up to that... When I started out getting back into shape, I could barely do 10 minutes on level 5, now 8 months later I am doing 60 minutes on level 12 4-5 days a week..

I ran 6.5 miles in a 7:33 pace last night. I could have went a lot farther but it was getting pretty dark on me. Hopefully it stays warm a little bit longer so I don't have to move to the pool to get my exercise quite yet.
