Went fishing today for the first time this year, didnt catch anything 
I've got a trip planned next weekend to the Salmon River in Pulaski NY.. Can't wait! I just hope the weather cooperates, I don't wanna have to keep my 60D in a ziplock, lol.

shot a criterium yesterday. it was a small, 1.9 mile I think, course around the field in the background, in an industrial park. A Mercedes R&D office was there and I actually got some shots of covered cars coming back in from road testing, lol. Racers go for anywhere from 30-75 minutes depending on their class. Number of laps doesn't matter. But, if you get lapped, you don't get points. Most of the races are relatively boring, sticking together in one big group, but the final race, the pros, was great. Crazy fast and a couple of good breakaways, one lasted until the last lap before it finally got sucked in. The peloton timed it perfectly. All in all, decent fun. I invited a buddy along who can pan with the best. He got sharp shots down to 1/30", and useable at 1/10". They're beautiful images, I need to go practice. I can SOMETIMES get down to 1/160" :P

It's a great place to spend a day. A ton of cool cars, a couple huge trains, a few old planes, and a lot of stuff from early 20th century (furniture and such). My son loves going there. If I went there myself, I could probably spend hours taking pics.

Next time get in tighter and/or shoot from lower or higher. It'll change the energy of the shots a lot more instantly.

I think a 2-3 foot drop could be enough to make these more exciting. Especially if you got in tighter. Lay down in the aisle, sit on stairs, hunker down behind the wall. Get dirty, haha.

Yeah, I can see that. I downloaded one and it doesn't show anything. The other opens the EXIF data into a new Tab. It works on Clubsi but on some sites the option isn't even in the right click context menu.

Got my 50mm 1.4 today. VERY impressed by it. Just did an auto tone correct, boosted the clarity a little and fixed the eyes as they were a little dark.

A colleague just got an RSV4. He had a Honda liter bike, I don't know which model, and would track it regularly. A dealer in San Diego was discounting the '12's pretty heavily, and the 13's were priced pretty close to the original price of the 12's, so he went for his dream bike. It is really beautiful. Really. He did a few mods to it but I think it still looks pretty clean. Replaced a bit of plastic with some CF in the transition from nose to tank, little CF sliders on the tank (actually not a tank, just plastic cover), nice wide and flat sliders off the frame so they don't catch the grass and flip the bike if he goes down, exhaust. Oh the welds on the exhaust...wow. Decal kit but without all the sponsor logos. I've got a few more I'll be adding here. He's had it for about a month, took it to Chuckwalla this past Sunday/Monday. Had a great time he said. And the best part, I didn't jynx him by shooting it before his first track day. He joked with someone else that I asked to shoot it before he wadded it up and I wanted to be very clear that I did not use those words 
So I shot Ironmom's bike on white seamless, wanted to throw black in there too but I'd taken up a good chunk of his time already. Shot the Aprilia on white for a bit then swapped to the black paper. This shot is with a 15 degree grid on an Einstein. Using my $120 28-105, super sharp/clean images. Shot on the d700, not the d600. I went through a whole 12 pack of sensor swabs and it's still filthy, I'm just pushing dirt around at this point. Not a problem shooting wide open, but the pan shots at the bike race and anything in the 'studio' is a mess.
