One shot, but I'm showing the processing. Unfortunately, I forgot I had my Aperture wide open at 1.8. Not a huge deal with this focal distance, but could of been better stopping down the aperture.

I love everything except the left to right slant. Why'd you leave that in?
If you're referring to the horizon not being level, that's the last thing I change before sending the image into print. If you mean the shadow on the floor, I left it just because it gives some directionality to everything, and I thought it looked cooler than a fully filled in floor.

Where's that at? I like smooth water sometimes, but I also like some texture too depending on how much of the frame is occupied by the water.

hmmmm your loss then  And how did you get the 'A. SIN' to light up like that? Photoshop trickery or good timing?
i had a list of eats that I wanted to hit up and didn't even have time to finish the list. Missed MC Kitchen, but oh well, I was rarely on that side of town.
Which one is A. Sin can't find what you're talking about.

ah
nope; luck of the draw. I didn't really pay att'n to that side of the street nor the sign when I converted it to b&w; actually the only thing I did was use the LR5 b&w preset (#3, minus the artificial grain to be exact) and that was the resulting image.
I camped at that corner of the street for probably 5 mins before this guy showed up and then as soon as he stepped into that spot I clicked the shutter. So yah, had to wait a while before I got what I wanted. When I was looking at the viewfinder, I would've took anyone old looking; the fact this guy was wearing that outfit was just a bonus.

I've been working with lightroom to work on colors, fisheye removal, and post processing with colors. does this look any better? 
Alright, I'll play.
Everything is leaning to the right. Don't believe me, see below. Also, if the focus of your photo is the jeep, make it the jeep and you can hide a lot of the go-pro-ness of it.
Here's your photo showing how most leans right, with the subject highlighted.
Now, if you crop out the shit (i.e. the blown out sky, the leaning trees, the drama on the right, and rotate it 5 degrees (not perfect but shows what I'm showing), you get this:
There is still a very bright area in the trees behind the jeep, that doesn't match the left and right trees, and the leaves and ground are sort of blandish, but a few tweaks go a long way. Even at the end of the day, the photo is just a snap shot, nothing spectacular or nothing great, but focus on getting the basics down now, even with a shitty camera, will help long term.
