I dig the shot, the colors of the tube work coming out of the foliage is cool, but I think I'd frame it differently. looking at it for a bit, I'd probably crop in a bit more on the left, more on the bottom so the buggy is almost a lower thirds item, and then have more sky. I don't know. I love how it's coming out of the foliage though, haha that's neat.

Same thoughts. Use the foilage as a left and bottom border basically to leave that effect of coming out of them, and have the buggy in the lower left of the photo....
or trim out the sky and have it in the top left might work.
It's a good shot but I do agree, a crop would help it (and bring the buggy to more of the focal point).

it really did though  speaking of, i have a friend back home that just asked if i knew anyone selling a 5d2. so i you happen to decide to upgrade to something, let me know.
rain and thunderstorms so kanarraville is out today unfortunately, i was really looking forward to that. went back to kolob today, it was consistently wet, so i went to the sports authority in cedar city for a jacket. had to buy a jacket when i was in tahoe with ironmom too maybe next time i'll bring one. went back to hike the south fork trail but it's crazy overgrown and i can't tell if it's poison oak or just oak, so i turned back. Super disappointed. Heading out to cedar break now. I think tomorrow morning i'll head to zion and take the shuttles or something, then eventually head back to SLC in the evening.
ah hell, just looked and the clik factory is only another hour south. if i'm driving 4 hours north, what's another two to buy more bags? actually i could use some lens/body wraps

Here I thought my self funded UT trip was pretty rad.
I have a series of these that are hot, but I'm debating tracking down a contact at Keen first(Keen logos were on the chute). The series is really good. There was a girl shooting for another company that sponsors the guy, so I'd of course disclose that to them.. Maybe they'd want to use them for something? Either way, they'll look good in my portfolio.

I kept hoping to get some lightning in Kolob, or even Cedar Breaks, but no such luck. I'd see little flashes here and there but just not enough to catch any
