Saw one today on 400. Equipped with blue strobes.
It was parked on the shoulder with strobes, in front of it a white marked Crown Vic, then a car that appeared to be pulled over.

Looks like this, but don't remember if it had alloys. Totally unmarked.
I am guessing it called OPP to pull a guy over since he's not permitted to do so?

used to be..turn on road..see car in distance...hid's..not a cop. VTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEC.. now you have to tread a bit more carefully.

Take that shit to racewars bro! But I agree with you, a lot harder to spot these days. There was a blacked out Honda Odyssey parked on the 400 right before Barrie (By the Mercedes dealer before Mapleview) nailing people with radar and the cops were down the hill pulling them over, lol!

All I thought was 'You sneaky motherfuckers!'

Is it not worth the pain of installing hidden radar scanners/jammers in GTA?

a few years back Peel was using Kia Rio's on the 403 along with a 4Runner to patrol the 403 HOV lanes.

I have never seen that car actually in use on the road. Always saw it as a promotional thing.... could just be when I saw it.

Just promotional. It couldn't be used to get to the scene with any haste.

The two oddest ones I've seen recently were a Highlander (PRP) and an F250 with a wood box in the bed (OPP).

I am not sure what the fines will be if they catch you with one. They are still illegal to use in Ontario whether you installed one hidden under your seat or what not.
