Hey guys, for those of you who don't know already, PIC Performance very recently got up and running. Check out our webpage at www.Picperformance.com, and it'l give you the lowdown on our entire line-up of parts. But to give you a quick summary, we're a small company that specializes in suspension components. Our goal is to make high quality suspension goodies available to everyone interested in the sport, while doing our best to inform the consumer as well. There's a lot of information outside of the parts on our website, take a look through it. I'm pretty excited about finally being able to release our products to the public, because I know we've got a solid line-up of goods, and our prototype testers seem to be very pleased with their setups I know a lot of our members here are always on the look out for a good product and a good deal, hope you keep PIC Performance in mind.
CSI members will get an additional 4% off, and there are further discounts if you buy more than one item:
2 items - 3% off
3 items - 6% off
4 items - 9% off
5 or more items - 10% off.
Very important: If you do plan on ordering more than one item, PLEASE PLEASE CONTACT US FIRST and let us know what you plan to order, so we can issue the discount properly.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me as well via PM or email Ahung@Picperformance.com I have no life so you'll receive responses promptly lol.
Also, we'll be making our public debut at the Honda Raceday at E-town the 13th of this month. We're one of the sponsors there, its gonna be a blast. Hope some of you can make it out!
edit: Grand Opening Sale's over. But we're still running the Apex Challenge satisfaction guarantee offer.

Thanks The engine damper benefits any level of modification actually. One thing I didn't mention in the description though is that you probably want to pair it with a decent set of motor mount inserts.

What is your company's view on hiring Taiwanese children in the work place to build these assemblies? Are you hiring?

Update! We've added an Apex Coilover + LCA Package to our Specials section. Basically this is to solve a problem that I've seen too many people run into (as well as myself), where the rear LCA bolts have a tendency of seizing up inside the bushing, which sometimes results in a whole new set of LCA's. What this package offers is any set of Apex's (except for the R3) and a set of eg/dc2 style LCA's or ek style lca's, for a reduced price. The price of $795 follows the store-wide 10% discount already, it comes out to be cheaper than the normal 2-item discount, and of course CSI members get an additional 4% off, making the amount something I am too lazy to calculate right now but it is a very affordable combo. Save yourself some headaches! Its under the "Specials" section, on the left-hand sidebar.

If you're worried about excessive tire wear, toe is the big culprit, and an alignment should be done straightaway after adjusting the car's height. I'm sure you know this but for others, a bit of negative camber is generally desirable because it provides better handling through corners (the suspension will experience camber gain during compression, and negative camber will increase contact patch through the corner), and normal lowering of the car will get you this negative camber. Even amounts of camber can be acheived through a regular alignment, afaik, so if you come out with like 2.4degrees on the LR, and 1.8 on the RR, you can even it out without the use of a camber kit. So camber kits are largely unnecessary (front and rear) unless
a. you see the need to zero out your camber completely, or
b. have changed the ride height so dramatically that the camber is too far off, or
c. for situations were very precise settings are needed, and are changed often.
For those that experience these situations, our front camber kits work well. We've kept the opening in the plate smaller, to increase rigidity, especially around the adjustment slots. Adjustments are fairly easy to make on an alignment machine, granted the shop knows wtf they are doing (some will bitch and moan). We use high quality hard-rubber bushings, to minimize deflection compared to the stockers, and maintain reasonably long life and decent ride quality.

Alrighty, captain-insano discounts across the board to sweeten the deal a little more for you guys. I want to get the name out there, because I'm convinced that one drive and the product will sell itself. New Selects are on the way Chris, I know the page product list is lookin a bit sparse now with them taken out and all. But you can check out Jason's when he gets them. I'm sure you will like I think the Apex/LCA combo we have is a little hard to find, because its under the "Specials" section and most peoples' browsers' are set to such a resolution that its off the page, but its there, on the sidebar. $696 + shipping now for joo guys!!

Chris, even though the stickers are such expensive items, and we use only the highest quality sticky material and ink, I guess we *might* be able to include a few if you order

Hows the quality on the front camber kit for the 96-00 Civics? I'm in need of a set before I get new tires.
For what its worth, I run these in my race car (rally) and autocross car and they are awesome. They took all the pounding I could dish out not to mention my PIC Coilovers hold up wonderfully under rally, street, or autocross conditions.
These things stood up to the 1500 mile Targa Newfoundland, plus driving ~900 miles each way to and from Boston. Al knows his stuff and is a stand-up guy. I can vouch for his character and his products.

I can vouch for that as well. Him and Jim were both out in my garage the day before the track event trying to help me get the car set up. I do not know very many companies that will have reps come out to see their products perform and help set the car up.

Nope, all vinyl for that race. And yes, they look crooked but that is relative to the side molding. No 3 wheel action there, just the car coming down from about 3 feet up, the ass end hadn't made it yet.

Despite the lack of merry decorations, Holiday colored-theme and reindeer, PIC Performance is definitely in the Holiday mood. To show how jolly we're feeling, from now through Jan 1st, 2006, we are offering Free Shipping on all orders placed through http://www.PICPerformance.com. The jollies continue with even bigger discounts for Clubsi.com members, now 5% the total order price on our entire line-up of coilovers!
And just in time for the Holiday season, PIC Performance is happy to announce the arrival of our Select line of coilovers, ready to made available to the public. Pictures coming soon (I asked Santa for a digital camera for Christmas *fingers crossed*).
PM, e-mail, call and ho-ho-hollar with any questions or concerns you might have concerning availability, shipping, pricing, and customization options.
Happy Holidays,
The Team at PIC Performance
