I'm definitely considering it. 7 miles felt pretty comfortable this morning. I may just have to step up my game
And its flat, if not downhill(if its the same course along LV BLVD).

This is it : http://www.lvmarathon.com/
I am debating if to go to Vegas early Dec. or celebrate the 31st there (that would mean no race for me but maybe more fun).

I think you can run 10 miles comfortable (but slower) pace. If you can reach 10 miles at a decent pace you can do the 13.1 miles of the race. Race day is night and day when i comes to focus and inspiration. I feel full of energy when I race because of the vibe of the people.

Finally got back into the groove the past 2 days. 6.5 yesterday with a 7:50 pace and today 4.55 in a 7:28 pace. I'm going to have to bust my ass for the next 2 weeks to get into decent shape for this 1/2 marathon. The only goal I have is to go below 1:50
Any tips from the people that have ran a half marathon before? What about clothing? It will be pretty cold since it starts at 7:30am, but I'm sure I will start getting hot.

Matt, those people are great to train with. He might be a little out of your league, but it will push you. If you can, find someone that is 3-4 minutes faster than you...
