Try using not any newspaper, but the New York Times. Seriously, the times prints on paper that is significantly different than what other newspapers use and for some reason, cleans windows (with a bit of windex added) without any streaks. Try it.

Educate me... Why not windex? I've been using it for years. What works better than windex to clean glass?

A good friend of mine tints windows for a living and he just uses soapy water and papers towels and has no problems with streaks! But it is highly reccomended to clean your tinted windows with only soapy water unless the cleaner you are using is safe for tint.

best method ive found to to use one of those clothes that soak up the water first like a shammy, or sorber and then use a micro fiber cloth to wipe over the area

I am tried to clean it quite a few times, but it just seems to spread the smudge around. I think it could possibly be car wax because I recently got it cleaned and they used car wax. How could I get that off?
