Local myth describes a midgetville located near the Barbertown area of Streetsville. It contains 7 to 8 small houses and a small playground. The site is blocked off with a fence that sounds an alarm if anybody touches it. The houses and playground can be seen from afar from beyond the chainlinked fence. It has become a common place for teenagers to come with their friends to see the village. .[7] [8]
I want to punch that fucking douchebag in the mouth. Jesus christ he's annoying.

Mississauga's "Midgetville" is actually... Barbertown, originally spelled "Barberton". It's one of Mississauga's Lost Villages.
The so-called Midgetville is actually a small community that was built to house workers across the credit river from the textile mill which can be seen in the background of the video.
It has nothing to do with Midgets.
Google "Heritage Mississauga" and "Barberton" for all the details.
