Good luck with the Kia. I will never ever own a Korean car. It’s literally hot trash. The only reason why they sell is exactly what you said. They pack their products full of features into a mediocre package. This goes for all Korean made products, its their philosophy and its shit as a lot of times not all these so called features work well.
Honestly, I hope you are wrong. I've never owned a Korean car so this is a first for me. It is what it is I guess. The Suzuki didn't turn out well for me, but really hoping this one will. If not, I don't know. I'll just drive beaters I guess then
Wow that's a lot of kms. Is this long term?

Screamin - Yeah I know I'm not up to the CSI baller standards - I gotta buy more weed stocks with my savings to get there.
87 - no a few bucks is expected but thousands every year will become a headache. Jap vs German debate - but I won't start that.
Was the M3 much more noticeable of a difference to the G? I thought the steer in on the G was impressive - compared to what I have been driving.

Which weed stocks?
I won't bother with the Japanese vs German either, it's not worth it.
Was the M3 noticeable difference vs the G? Best way to answer this is with a question, are you fucking kidding me? I got the G for sitting in traffic/loaning out/road trips. I had it from Nov 2014 @ 181kms to its death in Chicago November 2016 when it hit a cab (I wasn't driving) @ 259kms. Yes, 78000 in 2 yrs and I had no daily commute. It was the village car, everyone had it for a while for whatever reason. It served a purpose, was reliable (one seized caliper and one PS pump), comfortable, fast, thirsty, and ate up the kms. The M3 is harder to own (not a garage queen but I care more about it) but much more rewarding to drive. It doesn't eat brakes, or tires, or throttle actuators. I replaced the rod bearings myself. I've had it almost 5 yrs and put on 40000kms with ZERO issue, it's seen track time, road trips (pre G) and my son and I take it for twisty road drives every Saturday morning to let his mom sleep. M3 has about 140000kms on it now. It's no track car in stock form.
I call tell you this, I've never researched and mapped out a fun drive route for the G37x.

87 Yeah I didn't need to read that - lol I know the M3 is the car to get but I'm trying to be practical as I need a car for all seasons, I'm sure the M3 would be OK in winter but it would be a shame to subject the car to those elements, being that the car is becoming a collector I would probably be overly obsessive about it's care and cosmetics and always entertain the thought of trying to sell it.
Another part of me thinks I should just get a 4runner and be done with driving like a jackass...but that sounds so damn boring...yet practical.
Weed stocks I'm currently watching
Bleave, iAnthus, fvpharma, and Aleafia.

Ha ha get out you got a 4 runner also - damn what a coincidence there lol. Have you taken it offroad?
I know the M3 is the better car hands down but they are about 10K more than a Q50 - plus the M3 has much more of a gamble factor when purchasing due to the nature of the car and the guys that own them...I know if I had one I'd be tempted to rev it out often to get the satisfaction of the sound/performance.
Risky you don't like the other stocks eh? They seem to have more upside being that they are still so new.

Oh yeah Hator for sure - and stay away from sketch dealerships and get a PPI - I've been searching for a while now
87 - that would be my fear, take it offroad to test it's capabilities and frig it up.
Looks like I missed out on the Blevf weed stock - just checked it and it's up 15.69% this morning. FSD pharma is also up 7%

Ha shit man no kidding good taste in vehicles
We have the same roof top carrier on our rav4 (v6 sport of course lol)
550KMs on the Runner? goddamn that makes me want to get one - I've had 3 in my sights and they keep getting sold - definitely a high demand vehicle.
I just had my expansion tank go on the 540 - it must know I'm looking to ditch it. Thanks for the input guys and 87 thanks for the picts - i remember you posting about that crash when it happened - shitty deal - but it's just stuff at the end of the day.
Those 3 cars are the one on my short list so that's pretty damn funny - I know the runner is not in the same category but I like the thought of getting off road and taking my boys fishing. I'm currently waiting to see if a finance deal will fall through on one I'm hoping to get a chance at.

A bit of a follow up of the g37 vs q50.
I test drove a g37s (paddle) and the steering is not a tight as the Q, by a large margin - steering felt a touch loose - this could be due to age and KMs but I was hoping it would be similar but not even close. It did feel a bit less refined all around but it's an older generation so I'm not surprised.

Yeah 14 is a decent price - the example I was looking at had 3-4 k in claims and was still 16 or 17 grand with 134KM.
Yeah I had a line on a 4 runner last week but it sold before I could check it out.

While 3-4k isn't a lot in damages, I would rather have a car without anything on Carfax....lots of Infinitis around...just wait for the right one.

Yup not in a rush, I'm starting to lean towards holding onto my car a bit longer - just fixed the expansion tank and still taking care of it...this is all research for when I'm ready I'll know what I want.

Yeah 400 hp would be great with an AWD set up - can you do down pipes and exhaust? Wondering how much more that would get you?

(sticky tires and lowered nice too). this car is great so far as a DD, even in the dead of winter.
Which tune, how much?

Unitronic stage 1 is just under $1150+hst but they said they'll see what they can do. i THINK that includes dyno tune but not sure. voids any oem/aftermarket warranty. apparently on audi ECU's it tracks if you've flashed then unflashed it.
other options are: http://www.independenttuning.ca (i may email them)
http://eurocharged.ca/product-category/audi/a4-s4-rs4-a4-allroad/a4-s4-a4-allroad-b8b8-5/ (waiting on reply, prices don't include dyno run/tune).
and Precision at hwy 7 and keele, not sure if i'll contact them or not.
tempted to do pulley too and that's even more power. but apparently at a certain point you have to reflash the DSG too? not gonna bother then.
maybe if we both book, try and work paki deal

I am asking because I'd be interested in a GIAC stage 1 tune, unitronic and the rest I will have to pass up on, they are like on/off switch tunes, not very refined as per 4age who had all of them.
As far as your car, I am not sure if you can even tune your car, yours is a 2013 right? I think you might be fucked because 2013's use B8 transmissions if auto, so if you do the engine tune you can't do an actual DSG tune, that's available only on 2014+ DSG cars. Older autos you can only tune the engine and not tranny, apparently that doesn't work well at all. Something worth looking into.

Definitely gotta consider a tranny flash if you're pumping XX amount of power over stock.
