TxGator TxGator Jr Member Registered: 05/18/04 Posts: 518 Loc: Atlanta	Hey Guys, I have a 99 civic ex 2-door. I went to the ATM the other night to get some cash, so I put my window down to use it. When I tried to put it up, it would only go up about half-way. I had also noticed that the rear part of the window was not aligned on its normal track. I tried to force the window back on its track while putting it up, and I managed to get it about an inch or so from the top. I called up the Honda dealer and they want to charge $96 just to look at it. Is there anything I could try to fix it before I take it to the dealership? Renaissanceman Renaissanceman Newbie Registered: 11/25/07 Posts: 8	this happens all the time. u gotta take the panel off (not hard to find the 5 somethign screws) Then reallign the window and use lube. Silocone based? right guys? I'd lube both passenger and driver side windows or else one window will be faster then the other(if you care) It happened once to me when it was fuckin snowing. There is a chance that the tracks the window is on just loosened up which caused the window to pop off of them. To fix it, first you need to remove the door panel. Then get the window back on the tracks and then tighten the bolts that hold the tracks in place. Thats what i did the 2nd time it popped off and my window has been fine since. The biggest pain in the ass is getting the door panel back on perfect, anyway, good luck. _________________________
