I have a 2.5" DP and testpipe. . .I can feel it spool quicker but I couldn't tell a HUGE difference. 300WHP should be easy w/ 15 psi. Good luck though. It still boggles my mind how people w/ larger downpipes and testpipes are only seeing like 6 or 7psi. I cant see anything under 9 and when I turn on the Profec B I hit 12???

oh. i wouldn't recommend trying to boost that much. i have a slightly thicker head gasket and my motor is about to die. i have another motor getting ready to be built so i turned up the boost to see what i can put down. runs strong and all but probably won't last.

My car is getting the greddy kit put on right now with type 31 intercooler and I just wanted to know if I'll be able to beat new Z28, SS, or WS6 trans ams. I'll be runnin with stock boost or up to 8 psi. When it gets done will be basically just turbo,ic, short shifter and 3" catback.

On my old setup of Cai, 4-1 header, 2 1/4 catback with a 60 shot of NX I was able to beat z28s and Mustang GTs. Am I gonna be that much slower with Greddy Turbo? V6 camaros have never been an issue even with out NX. They are gutless!

So is stock boost the same if you buy the turbo kit with or with out the intercooler? I heard w/o the intercooler PSI is like 5.5 or 6 and with like 7 to 8. What should I expect?

Quickie here. Whoever it was that was having oil Return line leakage problems, all you need to do is replace the fitting on the end of the return line> The steel braided line fitting on the side that leaks is the problem. We just replaced the fitting, and no more leakage.
I'm running a '00 Si with the GReddy TD05H-18G, with the Big Intercooler (is that the type 31?) and showing 233.9 HP with 7.5 psi of boost.

So the blue box runs you really rich? Does the blue box compensate for boost past 7 or 8 psi? What would happen if you boost up to 10 for a race? Any info would help

Does anyone know of any sites to go to to look at the installation of the greddy (Si) kit.

it all depends on your setup and whatnot. that was with a pretty basic setup and minor tuning. and the motor wasn't buitup any.

you won't beat any of those from a standstill. (wheel spin)
you might have a chance with the chevies from a roll but the ws6 is gonna be tougher.

I just picked up my turbo kit for the Si engine, but in a EG coupe. I was wondering if there are any mods i need to do in order to fit the I/C and what not. Also i have EVO exhaust with a test pipe, will the kit bolt right up (same size) or do i need to upgrade to a larger exhaust? Also this is a dumb question i know, but with the turbo kit and I/C can the kit be run on a stock engine with just that nothing else added? Thanks for any help.

Chubs 636, you are going to increase the air flow into the combustion chamber and your not going to compensate with any kind of fuel, that is a recipe for disaster. I would like to assume that the GReddy kit you own came with 310 cc injectors and the GReddy FCU (blue box). If that is what you are refering to when you say
In reply to:or meaning no fuel upgrades at all. I bet you could get away with 1-2psi, but what fun would that be?
can the kit be run on a stock engine with just that nothing else added

By the kit i meant the entire thing with all the parts, fuel injectors, e-manage and all that crap. And an intercooler, most likely t24. But like what i meant was with no boost controller, turbo timer, new FMU, hondata, all that junk....will it run ok?
