That is very clean.. i just got a my 2000 EBP a month ago after this lady totaled my black ex. its bone stock. Just dropped. i want more horses but i am thinking i should just save up for the k series instead of using that money to mod the b16a2. What would you suggest since you went through 3 motors so far? How much was the swap total if you don't mind me asking?

The b16 is a good motor to start with but it lacks the power to acutally fool around. I was pretty happy with the ITR motor. Originally I was gonna go for a fully buit oem setup ITR block with CTR pistons (courtesy of PurduinaSI). I realized the amount of money being spent on that would equivalent as much as the stock K series and more power.

Overall how did the swap go? I'm looking at completeing the same swap within the next 6 months. Looks like you went with hasport mounts, no clearence issues with the hood? Swap looks great by the way and you have some great numbers too.
I am very satisfy with the swap, stock setup with a whole lot of power to mess with. Do expect the chasis to virbate alot due to the stiff mounts. All in all its great. I notice there are two places the motor is hitting the hood: Bottom left side of the VC and brake booster vent tube of the intake manifold. You could trim off a piece of the skeleton where it is hitting. Since I am using EKK2 Mounts, I could lower the motor but I would sacrafice oil pan clearence.

Since you went with the Ekk2, how much clearence do you have at the oil pan? Was it worth swaping out the crossmember/power steering/lac's/ect for the additional clearence and making the front end essencially an EG? DId you go with hasport axles too?

I never measured the clarence of the oil pan using the EKK2 mounts. But I do notice I have more room where the radiator sits compare to my friends EKK1 and EKK2 mounts are height adjustable! I recommend anyone who's using an EK to use EKK2 just because it provides that much more clarence. Feel free to ask anymore questions. Believe me, you won't regret doing the swap (besides the money issue )

Yeah I get that alot. I like the fact that it sits really low compare to the recaros that I have.

How long did the swap end up taking you? After looking into it I deceided to do the EKK2 mounts aswell. Did you use a EG or a DC front cross member? From what I understand the rack in the DC is a little more disirable if your retaining power steering.

The swap done in 2-3 days with the help of Rcrew Racing, having a lift is a gods send! EG and DC front cross member is basically the same. With EKK2 mounts, you are going to need the eg/dc front lower control arms as well. I do recommend getting the one with the PS rack simply because it offers a better steering ratio. Power steering is overrated

I'm using Rcrew axles. If I had to do it over again, I get some gators or hasports. Rcrew axles aren't strong enough to launch with.

Besides the mounting points, the replica is virtually identical as the oem one. But it wont sit flush as well as the oem.
