Quote: They look bling-tacular, but I always wonder... Is the EDFC REALLY necesary?
i dont even have dampening adjustable coilovers! my omni's have been just fine!
I have no issue getting out of my car popping the hood and trunk and adjusting my settings if need be. Albert (who makes my suspension) went from the driver seat, popped the hood and hatch, adjusted, closed the hood and hatch and back in the driver seat in something like twenty-seven seconds. So I have a hard time to justify $400 or whatever it is for an EDFC to save myself thirty seconds.
when you say its fully adjustable, 16 levels with knobs and 32 levels with EDFC. Does that mean the EDFC gives you another 16 levels of adjustability? sorry if this is a stupid ?

Thats exactly it, its not like you need EDFC, anymore than some one might need aesthetic body upgrades...
BUT it sure is cool.
I think I'll eventually grab an EDFC for my Flex's...

I guess in the case for Jeremy and myself not spending money on status and focusing more on value and function are more important. But he ahs built his car for a different purpose than most on this board and mine is headed in a different direction. I will honestly never understand spending money on bling and status on a vehicle unless its sole purpose was to be a trailer queen for shows. I have better things to spend my money on I guess like my family.

Yes, EDFC has higher precision allows your damper to be adjusted at 'a-half of a click', increasing the adjustability levels to 32!
I don't know if it EDFC neccessary though, however, there are VARIETIES of road surface in Thailand. If you running in highway, its fine but if you get into town, theres hole and bumps. Now, this is when EDFC comes into play. I purchsed this in order to ease my own azz when I travel from town to town. You know, unlike the United State the road surface is fricken smooth comparing to ours. This might give you some idea why EDFC is so popular in Asia.
and now!!! I just got myself a wheel alignment, justing chamber, toe and proper ride height... now gimme one or more day to test this baby and I'll inform you guys again shortly.
Those are very sexy. How are they working out for you so far?
