I know very little about proper exercise or weight training, but realizing more and more it's all about the basics. If you want to lose weight, you finish every day slightly calorie deficient and you lose weight. Now that I'm starting to show some weight loss I keep getting asked what I'm "on" or "taking". The stupid, dumbfounded looks I get when I tell them I cut my calories in half, and replaced 4 nights of drinking with 4 nights on an elliptical. It doesn't seem to process.
Oh well, I guess for every fad diet/exercise program a few people will love it and get healthy. That's what matters in the end right? That we are healthier and happier.
